UFO-like swirls over Alaska On the night of a Northern Lights show 🛸
Anyone who looked up at the Alaskan night sky over the weekend saw a strange swirl that looked like a doorway to another galaxy.
For a few minutes early Saturday morning, a cloud that looked like a spiral and was light green and baby blue was seen in the aurora. The event happened because a SpaceX rocket took off from California’s Vandenberg Space Force Base.

About three hours before the dancing spiral emerged, SpaceX launched the rocket. This dumped extra fuel into the air, which turned into ice.
A study associate professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute told the Associated Press that the sunlight was able to be seen because water vapor in the air reflected it.
Don Hampton, a space physicist, said that he has seen the rare spin about three times.
Even though it’s not a galaxy, pictures of the spiral caused “a bit of an Internet storm” and were widely shared on social media.
